Post new to agora cart - tons of questions
Not sure where to start here so I'll try to make some sense to things as I go along.

I've been reading and picking up on things here and there but I still have quite a few doubts. One of which is where are you supposed to begin in changing these files. I've got the header and footer files finished. I have the web pages done the way I want them already. My problem that I'm faced with now is how can I entertwine Agora Cart into them? The second issue that I'm faced with is, I have a select option the customer can use for the item when they place their order. How would you figure that into the equation?

Thanks to any one that can help guide me through this.

hell-o
there are tons of opinions on how to allow navigation between static pages (outside of the store directory) and store links. mostly it all depends on the content of your static side of things. if you have tons of pages (for example ) of information and website data then the cart could be viewed as secondary. some creative thought will have to apply here to coax or convince ppl to enter the store (assuming you have a dB store).
if you have very few static pages (not really a good idea, this) and your site focus is entirely on the store then you may want to keep what few static pages you have (for some content) and mirror the pages in the store. once the client enters the store they can't get out. LOL
in some cases cart contents can be lost if the client clicks out of the store directory so it's a good general rule to keep them there once in until purchase is complete.
you may want to consider a non dB store.
without actually seeing the concept of the site it's tough to advise and the options are too broad.

dan

First question would be how do go about doing a non dB store and to answer your 2nd question.. here's the link so you can see what the store will look like when it gets up and running.
