tiling a background image on main agora page

Post tiling a background image on main agora page 
I have been able to add a backgroung when a catagory is selected but still cant tile a background image for the main page. I think its done in the store_header.inc but Im not sure where or how it should be placed. Any ideas?

Add the background to the 'index.html' file found in the 'html' directory of the store.

Bonnie,
I have added the background to cart/html/index.html but the page still shows up with out the back ground. Can you think of any reason why the background would not be showing?
