Post Coupon Hack for free shipping? 
I have seen the coupon hack, and was wondering if it has been modified somewhere to give free or discounted shipping, (ie.. is it available for pro members). If not, what files would be involved in order to do this.

there is a discoutn manager for the next pro version of the cart due out in the end of july or aug i believe.... it doesn't currently have the option for discounting the shipping... it just places a whole dollar or percentage off the total order.... since this is something typically covered in the pro forum if you want i can whip up something that'll probably work and post it in there..... that's if you are a pro member....

actually after thinking about it more.... ya probably don't need to use the discount code to do this... that is unless you wanna have the person enter a code during check out..... then you'd have to modify the discount code to discount the shipping as apposed to the total price.... if ya just wanna do no shipping charges check the following post....

so if you're having a sale or something ya can just change the input type into a hidden and that'll do the trick....

The reason I want to use a "coupon" for free shipping. Is that my suppliers do not allow me to sell at a discount. And I would like to give coupons out for free shipping on your next order, or for promotions or whatever. Now that I think about it, being able to have a couple of coupon numbers for various applications would be very cool. One that has shipping half off, to be given out at fairs and such., and one free shipping.

And No, I am not pro yet. I am pretty new to this cgi stuff.

well i'm sure something could be figured out... the discount manager that's gonna be in the next pro version could probably be modified to discount the shipping charges.... but currently it's not setup to do that.... but this is a topic that would have to be covered in the pro forum... which is a great investment if ya haven't already thought about it....
