Post To version or not to version...that is the question 
Does installing a new version require a complete rebuild of my site as far as any modifications I have made to the original package or is there a way to modify only a few files to upgrade? I want to install and test your cart but I see that version 5 is due out soon and I don't want to install a 4.x version and have to reinstall everything a short time later when version 5 comes out. Do you have an estimate when 5 will be released

The only estimate we have is soon, it is unknown as to how soon.

hell-o
don't wait for v5. get your store up and running. when v5 is released it will be very different from what you have now so updating may not be as simple as previous versions. however, you can install v5 and do customization at your leasure while your current version remains live.
