Post Help - Sorry, the agoracgi.tgz file was not found!
Hello,

First I want to say thanks in advance for any and all help - what you all do here is great!!!

Now onto the problem - I used filezilla and followed the instructions, the folder is actually cgi rather than cgi-bin and I have godaddy as a host.

I go to the install file and get the error message that agoracgi.tgz file was not found!

Any help or suggestions - is godaddy an ok host to use?

What instructions, exactly, did you follow?

I had followed the instructions at http://www.agoracart.com/installguide.htm - unless I'm doing something wrong?

Here is what I did though, uploaded both the install in ASCII and the agoracgi.tgz file in binary and then chmod'ed them both to 755 and they are both in the cgi directory - it is cgi rather than cgi-bin, would that make a difference? I'm at a complete loss..... Thanks for any and all help, it is greatly appreciated.

Unsure, did you create the directory or is that a default by your web host?
Who is the web host?
Is AgoraCart available for installation through your cpanel?
Does the web host require all cgi scripts to be run in the cgi directory?
You might try just uploading/installing to the public_html directory and seeing if that works.
It is a UNIX server, right?

HTH!
