Hello, I recently just downloaded the Agora cart in my V/deck web management system. I currently use dot5hosting as my hosting site. I have it installed under cgi-bin. I have completely no idea what to do next. I currently run a e-cart through mals-e.com and thought this would be a little more porfessional. Can someone please take the time to help me get started? You can IM me directly on AIM (Dakotaflame02). I literally have no clue what to do now..there are so many files under Agora.

The first place to go would be the manager and set up things in there...

So this is the link I would use to access the manager correct?

http://www.your_domain/store/protected/manager.cgi (except putting my domain in)

I do that and it brings up a page not found error.

What am I doing wrong?

Basically, but the whole path to the store needs to be specific to wherever your store is installed to on the server.
You said it was installed to the cgi-bin so it would be more like:
http://www.domain.com/cgi-bin/store/protected/manager.cgi

Ok, so I tried that and it still isnt working.

http://www.domain.com/cgi-bin/store/protected/manager.cgi

It still shows a page not found.

I checked particuarly and this is exactly where the Agora has been installed:
public_html --> cgi-bin --> Agora

and then inside the Agora folder it has several other destinations including:
admin_files
custom
data_files
html
library
log_files
pgpfiles
protected
shopping_carts
in addition to the following files:
agora.cgi
index.html
picserve.cgi
post_install.htm
wrap_agc.c

The version looks to be 4.0
Do you have any other suggestions?

So the login to the manager should be at:
http://www.domain.com/cgi-bin/Agora/protected/manager.cgi

Like I said, it is in direct relation to where agora is installed on the server...

Ok, so after I fool around with the Agora Manager thing, how do I actually put it on my site? Also, Is there a way to just accept Paypal with this cart and not credit card processing offline?

Version 5 of Agora has a PayPal gateway.
If you've installed Agora on the server, it is on your site... you just need to link to it...
Which would be something like:
http://www.domain.com/cgi-bin/Agora/agora.cgi
