Post Installation problems
Hello,

I'm attempting to install AgoraCart on a linux server. The FTP5.cgi file runs fine and I click the Continue With Installation button. At that point the 'Installing....' screen appears but nothing happens.
What can I do to get this properly installed?
Thank you.

Who is your web host?
Have you checked the server to make sure whether or not any files were unpacked onto the server?

I'm using GoDaddy. No files have been unpacked.
CGI is enabled. They don't allow the use of /cgi-bin/, so it has to run from /cgi.

Oh... GoDaddy is SUCH a pain...
You have to manually upload the files and set their permissions with their hosting.

There are better web hosts out there that don't give so many headaches...

Well, I think I'm stuck with them for now, I don't believe they give refunds.
Is there a guide somewhere that says how to manually upload and what permissions to set?

They should, most web hosts do.

Anyway file structure and permissions are found at:
http://www.agoracart.com/agorawiki/index.php?title=AgoraCart_File_Structure%2C_File_Locations_%26_Permissions
Everything except the images and pgp files need to be uploaded in ASCII mode. Images & pgp files need to be uploaded in binary mode.

HTH!
