Post Help with Version 5 
I promise I read all the other posts on this subject and I'm still just as lost. I downloaded the files from the AgoraCart.org downloads page so that I could use Paypal which I set up this morning, not realizing I had to have ver. 5. I thought I had uploaded the new FTP5 files correctly however the manager continues to say ver. 4.0K-4b. I'm really not good at all the technical jargon, in plain terms, what do I need to do to get paypal accepted in my store? At this point, I don't care if I have to redo everything in my store, because I have to be able to accept payments! Thank you...

DO NOT TRY TO UPGRADE THE STORE BY UPLOADING v5 FILES...
Version 5 is sooooo different from version 4.x that the script files are not compatible with one another.
You will need to do a clean install of v5.

Okay, thanks for the tip. So I need to uninstall ver. 4 from the c-panel and then install ver. 5 clean, right? thanks again

No, don't unistall v4, just do a clean install of v5 using the FTP5.cgi file.

so I reinstalled ver 4..lol
now what do I do with the ver 5 cgi file...where does it go in the FTP thingy?
once again, sorry for stupid questions!

okay, I've followed every tutorial I can find, however the agora manager still says ver. 4 and I can't change the payment gateway to paypal. Is there something else I need to do to install this ridiculous program? Or do I need to delete a file or something to get the 5 ver to override? Thanks for all the help so far!

Obviously, you HAVE NOT installed version 5...
Please carefully go through the instructions... It's really quite simple...
