Post thinking about going PRO
im using v5 right now and i've got my site working just the way i want it (after PLENTY of hours/days of tweaking things)

in any case, im interested in getting the PRO version for the additional features.

my question is, is the upgrade 'clean'? or will i have to run through lines and lines of script again (which im not trying to do)?

Well... it really depends on the tweaking that you did... if you messed with core files, you will need to fix those again. If it is just the templates, you should be okay.
There is an upgrader for upgrading to v5.1 pro.

HTH!

Files in the any directories other than the 'html' directory are core files...

Depending on what you did, you might not have had to mess with the core files...
A LOT of the stuff is set up through the managers and free form logic and you should not ever need to edit those core files, directly...

Also, by editing those core files, you will NEVER be able to upgrade the files as updates become available...
