Hi @ all
First of all I did search for a simelar post but did not realy find one,
so pls excuse if that is solved somewhere else already and may post the link to that thread.

today I did some tests wih the checkout of the shop.
First Time that I used real addresses - and I found out only UPS calculates the shipping.
Selecting FEDEX or USPS brings an Errormessage.

In the Manager all 3 of them are activated.

FedEx does not work, hasn't for some time, because FedEx changed things and the developers hadn't been able to get the module updated. I think it is being worked on, for the new version that is in release candidate status getting the bugs worked out..., but will be a member's only module when it has been developed.

For USPS to work, you need to register with USPS to use their Web Tools. There are posts here in the forum on that, here's one of them:

Oh, yeah, the calculations are only for US domestic shipments. International shipments need to either use custom shipping logic or utilize a international shipping hack available to pro members. This has been fixed with the new version and international shipping modules will be available for the new version.

Hi Bonnie,
thats good news - with the international shipping. When does the new release come out?

I have to work anyway around that at the moment because we are dealing with plants.
Plants need in certain countries different papers and zertificates and then comes also the tax
so I will handle those customers from europe.
Thats why I wrote yesterday in the other thread about scripting some workaround that if someone chooses
in the checkout "outside of the USA" he gets redirected or some message popps up that he has to contact
the brooker of his continent or something like that.

The new release is out for Pro Members to test and work out the bugs before it can be released to the general public. The release date to the general public is not known at this time.
