hello,
is it possible to use paypal french version with the paypal gateway

The PayPal gateway does handle the Euro...

OK, but I think (but am not sure) that if I use the paypal.com the client may pay for the bank conversion (cost to change the to euros).
There is a paypal.fr(same company, just a french website for the client to sign up) so thought maybe I could use this by just changing the URL address. Not sure what else is in the gateway that may be a problem.

If they were to use the buy now buttons that PayPal.fr generates, what would that URL be?

Hi Bonnie,
Not sure.
Looked at both PayPal sites. The PayPal.fr site actually connects back and forth with the US site. It would appear that they are closely linked and it is just some of the sales info is actually in french (demo on the french site actually goes to the english demo?).
So sent a couple questions directly to PayPal.
Actually set up the PayPal pages (even though there is no account yet) and used PayPal.fr as the URl in the Admin page and it opened in the french site.
I think this is a much easier solution that the french system they were going to use..I hope.
