 get rid of this shipping option
how do I get rid of the shipping table that comes up after I have selected a product? I also get an error message when I click confirm orderform. My product in in person classroom education. Nothing ever gets shipped.
The following errors have occurred.
(123) This account has not been given the permission(s) required for this request.
my website is mnmortgagetraining.com. click on register now to get to the store. select a product and go to check out to recreate the issue. thanks

How do I do that. I installed Agora through vdeck. Will I loose everything that I have done?

Nicole,
It doesn't look like you've done much, except for the product database and you will be able to upload the database from the old store to the new store.
Follow the download link on the upper left of this page. Get the installer file for v5.
There is, also, a link for the install guide on that page.

reading the installtgz.cgi
what does this mean? Put the correct path to perl on line 1 of this file, above.
And do I have to do this?

You have the wrong installer file...

It would still be a lot easier if I didn't have to do the shipping/billing information in step one of the check out. Can I delete this part of the page and still be able to process forward with the transaction?

because I don't ship anything. they are classroom courses that people attend. On the order form from they fill out their contact information. Other than that everone is going to be from the same state. I just didn't edit the state list.

You can remove the fields from the order form, but you are going to have to edit the required fields array in the AuthorizeNet-order_lib.pl file...

I was able to get rid of the shipping fields by editing the appropriate HTML file in /agora/html/forms.
I edited it to remove everything and set the zip and stste as hidden form fields set to my zip and state. I also added some text that just said "No shipping required - Press NEXT to continue".
