   | Editing pics in store - User Fields
			acording to the on-line manual
http://www.agoracart.com/help/editing.html#user
adding the %%IMG%% then the image name. Example: %%IMG%%imagename.gif to the user 1 field allows you to put smaller pictures as thumbnails for checkout purposes. Problem is that there is no user 1 filed in my agora cart product add/delete section, just user 2 and so on. How can I make it so that I can show the product someone purchases as a thumbnail when they checkout (this is what it says I can use it for)?

Thanks!

Chad

On the product edit page within manager...there is a field for IMAGE FILE and one for 2ND IMAGE.

Put the larger image file name in the IMAGE FILE field and put the smaller one in the 2ND IMAGE field formatted as: %%IMG%%filename.jpg

You do not need to put any of the %%IMG%% stuff in the IMAGE FILE field.

   | smaller images at checkout
Thanks for your reply. Maybe I am confused as to what this is supposed to do. I have a large picture 1.5 inch by 1.5 inch that is shown as image when someone wants to buy something. They add to cart and (I thought) it should show the smaller image (thumnail - .5 inch by .5 inch) when they checkout or view the cart.
Is this not correct? No matter what I put in the 2nd image or upload in the other image upload section, I get the 1st image to appear the whole way through.

 Any ideas?
Thank you so much for your help!
 Chad

Could you post the URL to your store so I can take a look?

You have 2 versions of your photo uploaded? I have one larger one that I use and then I made a smaller one usually the same file name with a -s on it for small.

The only other thing I can think to check is from manager.cgi -> cart display check to see on the top half settings for:

Define the Screen Displays of Cart Contents

If the column for What to Display says image vs. db_user1 then change it.

It is definately pulling the same image. Check the following and let me know.

From manager.cgi -> cart display

check to see on the top half settings for:

Define the Screen Displays of Cart Contents

If the column for What to Display says image vs. db_user1 then change it.

			hell-o
in the eit products page in manager look to the lower left.
you will see "2nd Image:" with a box to the right of it.
 enter in the box:
 %%img%%NAMEOFYOURSMALLPIC.jpg
in program settings/main store settings :
Please enter the full URL of your /images directory
 html/images
Do you want to self-serve the images? yes
that should do it for you.
 regards,
 dan

Everything is set as it should be and like was requested by Dan. I still pulling the same picture (large one) no matter what I do.
Carol when you said to "change it" (image vs. db_user1), I have the "image" listed. Should I have db_user1 instead?

Sorry that this isn't working for me, I can't figure out what I am missing.

 Thanks for your help!
 Chad

   | Make sure your smaller picture is smaller
I had the same problem but I really had the same size picture uploaded twice. Send me your picture, I have photoshop and i could resize it for you (the order check out page needs a pic no more than 50 pixels wide) and I'll resave it for you in that size and send it back. Then make sure it's the picture in the user box behind the %%IMG%% and it will work.

Thanks

Yes...you should have db_user1 showing. Make that change and it should work.

That did it! You are the best! No where in any user guide does it say anything about needing that.
Thank you so much!

this is the defualt setting in display cart. be aware that if you have changed anything else on this screen the cart may not function as you expect it to. when making changes here write down the defaults as it can get confusing.
 good call carol.
