Calculating shipping cost by state..

hi all..

wondering if someone can give me hand/point in the right direction to how i would configure/calculate shipping costs in australia.

i have a store with approx twenty diff products....

the total selling price consists of the following:

i. the product price i.e $50.00
ii. a flat 7.65 handling cost
iii. a shipping cost...

the shipping cost is calculated by multiplying weight * per kg rate for particular state sending to..

there are 7 diff states sending to... so there are 7 diff per/kg rates... and also 20 diff product weights.

what is the best way for me to configure/calculate the total product cost??
