Post shipping per piece 
I have not looked at the shipping code yet and hope that someone has already asked this question to save me some time. I want shipping for 1 item to be $5.95 flat and each subsequent item to add $3. No other calculations. Hoping this is an easy one. Thanks.

Try this in the custom shipping logic:

@sc_shipping_logic = ("");
$shipping_price = 5.95 + (($total_quantity - 1) * 3.00);
